Your First Visit
Following confirmation of your appointment, you will be asked to

Complete our new patient information form so that Dr Williams can provide you with the best possible patient experience.
During Your Consultation
Dr Williams will usually:
- Take a detailed history of your concerns and relevant medical history
- Examine your hip, including its range of motion, your walking, etc.
- Review your previous scans and findings
- Discuss the next steps with regard to management or further investigation
- Write a letter back to your GP summarising the visit. You will also receive a copy of this
What to Bring?
- Medicare card
- Your GP referral, if you have not already sent this through, to allow you to claim a Medicare rebate
- Any copies of reports/referral letters that you may have not sent through
Hard copies of scans are usually not required if you have let us know where your scans were performed, as we can arrange electronic access.
What to Wear
Wear pants that allow a full range of motion of the hip.
For female patients, consider wearing tights/bike shorts underneath skirts for modesty during examination.
